WHAT TIME DOES EACH GRADE PLAY AT THE DOME?

WHAT IS THE FEE FOR THE PROGRAM?

WHAT DO THE PLAYERS DO DURING THE HOUR THEY’RE AT THE DOME?
For approx. 30 minutes, PSA Trainers/Team Coaches will work with the players
on age-appropriate technical skills activities. For approx. 30 minutes they
will play small-sided soccer games with their team and the volunteer Team Coaches will
coach the team.
HOW DO WE REGISTER?
A: Go to the
PSA Online Registration System (https://plymouthsoccer.cogran.com),
apply your User Name and Password and follow the instructions after choosing
the applicable program
Late registrations will be accepted, however, placement on a team is on
an as-available basis
WHAT GRADE SHOULD I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR?

CAN I REGISTER MY CHILD TO PLAY FOR A TEAM IN A HIGHER GRADE?
A: We create
teams based on grade. However, individual requests will be considered.
Please contact the Director, Recreation Program and he will make the final
decision after discussing the player’s ability/experience with you.
HOW ARE TEAMS FORMED?
We form teams by gender, grade, “play-with” request and school attended.

MY CHILD WOULD LIKE TO PLAY WITH A FRIEND, IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Yes, we do allow “play-with” requests if put in the “Special Requests”
section of the registration. “Play-with” requests must be received prior to
the Team Formation meeting which usually takes place one week prior to the
start of each 6-week block of sessions.
WHAT IF MY CHILD’S “PLAY-WITH” REQUEST IS IN A DIFFERENT GRADE?
The lower grade
child must play on the higher grade
IS THERE A GAME SCHEDULE FOR THE TEAMS IN THE WINTER RECREATION PROGRAM?
Yes, the PSA Trainers
have the weekly schedule. Each team will play against the other PSA teams
within their grade(s) and gender.
Pre-K (age 3 years) teams are COED and formed each week
CAN I DROP MY CHILD OFF AT THE DOME AND GO DO OTHER THINGS DURING THE
strongly recommend that a parent/guardian be present with the child during
the time they’re at the Dome. This is very beneficial in case there are any
problems with the child during the session.
I’D LIKE TO VOLUNTEER TO COACH A TEAM, HOW DO I PROCEED?
Thank you. The PSA Recreation program relies totally on volunteer coaches
and we always need team coaches.
This is a great opportunity to enjoy the program experience with your child
and their friends. New coaches are welcome and can try coaching with the
benefit of professionals nearby.
Please register to coach on the online registration form, contact the PSA
Office (763-450-3099) or let the PSA staff know at check-in.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD’S TEAM DOES NOT HAVE A COACH?
A: Seeing as
we rely totally on volunteer coaches, we require a parent of the players on
the team roster volunteer to coach the team.
WHAT HAPPENS IF NONE OF THE PARENTS OF THE CHILDREN ON THE TEAM ROSTER
VOLUNTEER TO COACH THE TEAM?
that will never happen. PSA has always had a parent(s) step forward and
volunteer to coach the team.
If no parent(s) step forward to coach the team, one of the other team
coaches or PSA Trainers will coach the team each week.
HOW DO I GET A UNIFORM FOR MY CHILD?
All participants in the Recreation WINTER Program get a T-shirt. It will be
provided when you check-in
at the beginning of each 6-week block of sessions you attend. You will have
to provide shorts and socks for your child, preferably black.
ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR THE T-SHIRT?
No, the cost for
the T-shirt is included in the program fee.
WHAT SOCCER EQUIPMENT DOES MY CHILD NEED?
Safety: A player must not use equipment or wear anything that is
dangerous to another player, or themselves.
If a child wears glasses, they should be secured with a head-band.
Soccer shoes (NO TOE CLEATS) are recommended, but tennis shoes may be worn.

WHAT SIZE SOCCER BALL SHOULD MY CHILD HAVE?
Size 3 for Pre-K
to 2nd Grade, Size 4 for 3rd to 5th Grade.
WHAT IS THE PSA POLICY ON REGISTRATION REFUNDS?
A: For the
WINTER Recreation Program, NO refunds are allowed. PSA may choose to award a
“Credit Voucher” towards future programs
