Chad O. Kelly
 |
President
Board Member since: ‘03
Club Member since: ‘00
Chad and his wife
Shelly have 4 children playing PSA soccer, all in the travel program.
Their youngest son is 2 ˝ and can’t wait to play recreational soccer in
the club. “His corner kicks are improving,” said Kelly.
Chad played soccer
years ago (he won’t tell us when!) at Henry Sibley High School and then
at Division III Gustavus Adolphus College before a knee injury put him
on the sidelines and channeled his energies towards coaching and club
management. Chad was a principal in an accomplished soccer club in
southern Missouri in the late 90’s. Chad carries a “Y” and an “E”
license and has coached high level teams for over 20 years. He is
currently coaching his daughter’s U12 C1 team and assists on his son’s
U10 team.
During Chad’s tenure
as president, PSA has opened an office, expanded the board, put renewed
emphasis on a great recreational soccer experience, implemented new club
management software, and had its travel program move up the rankings to
reach top 5 status in the state.
Chad attributes the
club’s success to the outstanding dedication of the members of the board
and countless volunteers. “It all comes down to having quality people
on our board and dedicated volunteers, which we have. These people put
in countless volunteer hours and are committed to delivering the best
possible soccer experience for your children,” says Kelly. He adds, “We
know we aren’t perfect, but we are improving the club every day.”

Chris Gibbs
 |
Vice President
Since 1996, Chris has been involved with soccer in a variety of ways; as a
parent he cheered for his own kids while creating long time friendships with
other parents; as a team manager he maneuvered through the paper work and
the coordination required for any soccer team to succeed; as a coach he
worked to help players understand their important role as a team mate. All
of these roles have led to his appreciation for the game of soccer and the
positive role it can play in the life of young people.
Chris, along with his wife Joni, are parents to 4 children, all of which
played soccer or are currently playing soccer. He has been involved in
almost every level of competitive soccer from currently coaching his
daughter’s U11 C3 team to coaching and managing a U17 boys premier team and
almost everything in between.
Chris possesses a passion for youth and his inherently creative approach to
problem solving provides a unique and valuable perspective to the PSA Board.
He has served on numerous committees and organizational boards in efforts to
support his continued dedication to youth throughout the community.
