Chad O. Kelly

President
Board Member since: ‘03
Club Member since: ‘00

Chad and his wife Shelly have 4 children playing PSA soccer, all in the travel program.  Their youngest son is 2 ½ and can’t wait to play recreational soccer in the club.  “His corner kicks are improving,” said Kelly.

Chad played soccer years ago (he won’t tell us when!) at Henry Sibley High School and then at Division III Gustavus Adolphus College before a knee injury put him on the sidelines and channeled his energies towards coaching and club management.  Chad was a principal in an accomplished soccer club in southern Missouri in the late 90’s.  Chad carries a “Y” and an “E” license and has coached high level teams for over 20 years.  He is currently coaching his daughter’s U12 C1 team and assists on his son’s U10 team.

During Chad’s tenure as president, PSA has opened an office, expanded the board, put renewed emphasis on a great recreational soccer experience, implemented new club management software, and had its travel program move up the rankings to reach top 5 status in the state.

Chad attributes the club’s success to the outstanding dedication of the members of the board and countless volunteers.  “It all comes down to having quality people on our board and dedicated volunteers, which we have.  These people put in countless volunteer hours and are committed to delivering the best possible soccer experience for your children,” says Kelly.  He adds, “We know we aren’t perfect, but we are improving the club every day.”
