PSA in the  Spotlight

Congratulations to the PSA U17 Phantoms who finished up their season as the runner up at the state championship held on August 1 in Blaine, losing to NSSA. Prior to that game, the Phantoms beat Maple Grove 2-1, beat River Falls 2-0, and tied Rochester (the undefeated winner of the South District) 2-2.   The Phantoms were 9-3 in the regular season, beating every team at least once in the District and finishing with six straight league victories.  In between league games, they made it to the finals of the PSA Cup and to the semi-finals of the USA Cup.  Several of the girls on this team, which has players from six different schools, have played together since U9, and their dedication, teamwork, and attitude contributed mightily to their success this year.  At least five members of the team will play for their respective schools this fall. Special thanks go out to the U13, U15, and U16 players who helped the team through some tough games and at state.

Congratulations to the PSA Thunder U17 C2 Boys
who were West District League Champs and earned an automatic berth to the State Tournament.
