Young Champions Summer Season

Summer Season:  Starts on Wednesday May 14th and ends on Thursday July 31st.

Includes: 10-12 practice sessions, 8-10 games and a Jamboree (2-3 Mini-Games) during the PSA MN Classic Tournament

Summer Season Fee:  $225. Register by March 31st and receive a $25 discount! The Young Champions Uniform is an additional cost ($60). 

Uniform:  NEW Adidas uniforms must be ordered by every Young Champions player for the Summer 2014 season. Cost is $60. Please see the Young Champions Program Overview for details. 

Summer Registration:  Online Registration is open January 1st-April 15th. Late registrations may be accepted.

After April 15th, contact the PSA Office to determine if there are openings. Any “play-with” request must be submitted in the “Play-with Requests” section of the online registration by March 31st.

Play Days, Times & Locations: All practices and games are at Wayzata West Middle School (4 fields inside the track) 

  • Boys: Monday & Wednesday, Girls: Tuesday & Thursday 
  • Schedules will vary. Start times will be either 6:00pm or 7:15pm. 
  • Schedules will be available online once team rosters are finalized.
  • Coaches will have a master schedule of games and practices.
  • No practices/games are scheduled for the week of June 30th-July 3rd

PSA Trainers conduct all practice sessions, evaluate players, train & support Team Coaches and provide Coach & player feedback. 

Jamboree:  All teams are scheduled to participate in the Jamboree, which is played during the annual PSA MN ClassicTournament on Saturday June 21, 2014 (approx. 9:00am-2:00pm).  Teams will play (2-3) Mini-Games

Team Pictures:  Team pictures will be scheduled in early June (date, time & location TBD). Coaches will distribute team picture information, schedule and order forms at one of the first few practices.

Summer Season Refund Policy: Requests for refunds must be received, in writing, at the PSA Office by March 31st. PSA will not consider refunds requested after March 31st, unless we are unable to place your child on a team. Refunds will be in the form of a credit voucher for future PSA programs and will be minus $50 for Administrative Fees.
