Young Champions Winter Indoor Program

Winter Indoor Young Champions is offered in three 6-week blocks.

  • Block 1: November 8th-December 20th, 2014
  • Block 2: January 3rd-February 7th, 2015
  • Block 3: February 14th-March 21st, 2015

Days/Times/Location:

  • Session days/times TBD
  • All sessions are held either at the Plymouth Creek Center Dome Turf Field OR Wayzata Central Middle School Stadium Dome.

Winter Indoor Registration Fee:  (We strongly recommend registering for ALL THREE 6-week Blocks in advance). 
**PLEASE NOTE: prices shown are 2013-2014 session prices. 2014-2015 prices will be updated soon**

  • $238 - Save $44 when you register your child for all 3 Blocks in advance. Plus - receive a free gifts with a $50 value!
  • $94 for Block 1, Block 2 or Block 3 if registered separately  
  • Spaces are limited to 48 Girls & 48 Boys. Please register early so your child is not disappointed. 

Sessions consist of Technical skills training for 30 minutes, followed by age-appropriate small-sided soccer games for approx. 30 minutes. 

PSA Trainers will conduct the technical skills portion of each hour-long session with an age-appropriate curriculum, observe scrimmage games and provide coach/player feedback. 

Teams: Teams are formed each week for the scrimmage portion of the session. Age groups may be combined. 
 
Team Coaches: Team Coaches will coach the scrimmage portion of the session. Our Volunteer Coaches are usually coaches that are currently coaching in the Recreation, Young Champions or Travel Programs. Coaches are MYSA Youth Certificate candidates and have indicated a desire to coach in the Travel Program 
 
Uniforms & Equipment: PSA Young Champions Tshirts are included in your fees, and will be distributed at the start of each 6-week block. The Tshirt should be worn for all sessions attended. 

Players supply their own shorts, socks, shinguards (required) and soccer shoes (tennis shoes may be worn). 
 
Please bring enough water (Minimum of 2 qts), in an appropriate, non-glass container to all sessions. 

Soccer Balls: All players should bring a fully-inflated size 3 soccer ball to each session. Balls are available if a player forgets their ball.
